Medicare Part D – Prescription Drug

Not all drugs are included in every plan, so take the time to understand what your prescription drug options are.

Don’t let your health suffer due to unaffordable prescriptions drugs.

With costs skyrocketing for generic and brand name drug prescriptions alike, being able to afford your medications is an increasingly stressful burden. The good news is that there are two ways to obtain drug coverage:

If you are enrolled in Original Medicare, you may sign up for Medicare Part D as well, which is overseen by CMS, but sold by private insurance carriers. Your monthly premium is based on the plan that you select, but can also be adjusted by your income just as Medicare Part B can be adjusted by premium. Or, you can enroll in a Medicare Advantage Plan (Part C) that will typically include drug coverage. Medicare Advantage plans that include Part D prescription drug coverage will also include adjustments based on income.

Don’t let the rising cost of prescription drugs hinder your ability to afford your prescriptions. We’ll help you identify which Medicare prescription drug plan is right for you and guide you through the process of enrolling.
